Not too much has progressed with our escrow situation. We are going to credit our buyer some money toward her closing costs because of the chimney flue situation. We had 2 separate estimates given to us about how much it would actually cost to fix the flue and the amount is astronomical. So, we feel like giving her a credit (much less than the actual cost) is the best thing to do right now. The buyer has agreed to this and was willing to sign off on that part. Now we are just waiting for the bank to approve the loan. This is basically where we were when our last escrow fell through. Well, we actually gave them an extension with the bank approval. We're not at that point and hopefully we won't have to be. It's just the waiting game.
E and I went to my classroom today to begin packing up my stuff. There's lots of stuff. I'm leaving a lot of it because there is just such a large quantity! I can't believe it. I'm only taking the things that I have used with my students in the last 3 years. There are some things that I have from the beginning of my teaching career that I really don't use at all. E was such a big help! She's pretty amazing.
